How the WorldFirst volume discount works

We total your conversions and cross-currency payments every 90 days. Hit a threshold and your FX fee drops automatically for the following 90 days – and keeps dropping as long as your volumes stay high.

Here's an example

A new customer joins WorldFirst

• Days 1-180: with the new customer offer, the FX fee is 0.30% no matter how much the customer converts or pays internationally.
• Days 91-180: The customer performs £200,000 of currency conversions and international currency payments at the new customer offer fee of 0.30%. As the customers total volume in this 90 days was £200,000, they unlocked an upcoming FX fee of 0.25%.
• Days 181-270: The customer performs £300,000 of currency conversions and international currency payments at the volume discounted fee of 0.25%. As the customers total volume in this 90 days was £300,000, they unlocked an upcoming FX fee of 0.25%.
• Days 271~360: The customer performs £450,000 of currency conversions and international currency payments at the volume discounted fee of 0.25%. As the customers total volume in this 90 days was £450,000, they unlocked an upcoming FX fee of 0.23%.
• Days 361~450: The customer performs £470,000 of currency conversions and international currency payments at the volume discounted fee of 0.23%. As the customers total volume in this 90 days was £470,000, they unlocked an upcoming FX fee of 0.23%.

Key mechanics

1.Period Start

Automatic accumulation begins 91 days after your account verification. We'll notify you by email upon entering this stage.

2.Each Period Reset

Repeats every 90 calendar days.

3.Qualifying Volume

• Eligible transactions to be included in the total volume include all transaction and payment scenarios involving currency exchange, excluding refunds, World Card, World Pay, API customers.
• Payments in the same currency do not count.
• The currency calculated for total volume is in GBP. Non-GBP currency exchanges will be converted into GBP equivalent and counted towards total volume as well.
• It may take up to 3 days for transactions to show in the total values.

4.Activation

• The updated FX fee will be activated after each of your 90 days accumulation period ends.
• It may take up to 3 days from the end of the accumulation period for your updated FX fee to take effect.

We'll automatically apply the discounted fee when you pay or convert as long as you

• Exchange between AUD, CAD, CNH, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NZD, SGD, USD
• Scenarios: Transfers, withdrawals, conversions and FX trade
• Settlement: ≤2 business days

We don't have limits on minimum or maximum conversion or payment amounts or transaction frequency.

How it keeps you saving

We start to track your volume from day 91 after your account verification, then the more you convert with us, the more your upcoming FX fee can decrease!
